Not that I couldn't hear period I had a ringing for 24 hours. Whether there was an issue with the windshield to begin with who knows but it cracked it right down the middle.

bondo'd these up, going to try and cover the whole trim panel in a seamless piece of suede (the port will be a lighter suede than the rest of the trim panel)

reason its 1/4" longer than the port is because i still have to make a 1/4" trim piece that goes on the port, so i accounted for that. im going to make that then have robin round over the whole thing. i have a router and roundover bit, but im not the best with a router, so i dont wanna slip and make a bit notch in my port and have to re do it.

Nice work so far. I always admire those of you that have extra skills you can utilize (like woodwork, electrical, etc). Me, I wind up paying someone else to get certain types of work done on my car unless it's something mechanically simple then I can handle that. Electrical though? I won't touch that with a 10' grounded pole lol. Any idea on how much this will weigh once completed?

haha thanks.

weight, not so sure. i can account for all the subs/batts/amps once i get them, but the wood, i've got i think three 4x8 sheets of 3/4" birch (not too incrediblly heavy) and 2x4's, ive got probably a good 40x 8-footers in there.
