Today we set our sights on running the aftermarket door speaker wiring through the factory grommets . The first part of the project was to do some research on what the factory outfitted the HHR with .
Another project that was very straight forward ..
(1) Remove grommet at lower A-Pillar
(2) Remover grommet at door
(3) Trim plastic snap plug on top for wire on Lower A-Pillar side
(4) Route wire through factory boot
(5) Reassemble
20 minutes per side

We have a shipment of supplies that will begin arriving this coming week . The remaining power wire , wire management supplies, dry cell battery and sound dampening material for the front doors are in that package .
Today I installed a few items to be prepared for this shipment . These items are the distribution blocks , main power supply fuse , 0 gauge cable , battery terminals and a bosch relay . Also I tinned the ends of the speaker wire and made the connections at the amps . The RCA cables where also on the list of tasks .... Mission complete
I will post some pics in the next post .......

It is on the way, all will be here by next weekend.
I posted this above before the pictures ..............

The first of the supplies arrived today . This package is wire management hardware , grounding feet , 0 gauge and 4 gauge wire .

Already started ........... 
Sound damper materials will be here tomorrow, the battery will be here either Wednesday or Thursday . Appointment at HAT on Saturday to get the door speaker project started .....
