Without hijacking the thread to much May I recommend Porcupine Tree. They can sound Very Pink Floyd Like , if you like Post Barrett Floyd. Also a lot of Moody Blues influence. Each album changes sound and direction, but all I have heard ( My friend owns most of them ) sound great.

The cut that plays when you hit their Myspace page has a bit of a modern sound before they fade into and out of most of the tracks on their newest album.

A quote:
"Porcupine Tree is unquestionably one of the most difficult-to-categorize and innovative bands working today. The music is breathtaking, ranging from psychedelic trip-hop to progressive metal, and a compendium of other sounds and genres in between."

To bring back to the thread, they sound great in my HHR with the boot live album I have, but it needs better bass, hence my attraction to this bas enclosure thread

You could also try one of my favs from the '80's
World Party Ship of Fools.

Great songwriting. I sold it a while back. time to buy it again. After watching the video, I realize just how much I miss it!

Thanks again for the Iron Man. expanding our musical library is a great thing!.

What all do you look for in tuning?
To simply put it, a ported box has a hole (port) in it that air may travel in and out of. A sealed box has no holes in it.

Check out this article for info on tuning.

Hope that helps!

All A&E shops are not the same the guys at HB are great. They worked on my truck also and it had very clear audio. Here is a link to JT's FJ Cruiser http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/galle...e.asp?iType=28
