So after learning more today, I don't think the HU or the amp will cross the tweets at a high enough frequency.
Looks like I need a 6 channel 3 way crossover with frequency multiplication.

If you get a good crossover it will be fine.

I have a sony xec-700 that would do exactly what you need.

Look into a crossover that crosses at the drivers' frequency response
