As you can see, there aren't a lot of other brands that offer these features and adjustability coupled with the high-quality Burr-Brown DAC's and beefy amplifiers. Oh, I forgot to mention - in addition to CD, MP3, and WMV files - it also plays WAV files which means I can load uber-high quality .wav files from my studio directly in and it plays them perfectly!

Gotta love Pioneer!

Evening, Mike! Glad to see your head unit is meeting your needs! (Sorry, all the jokingly sarcastic remarks I'll leave in that other forum) :)

Ha! I KNEW I'd get your attention with that one Will!

So glad to see you here (even if it took a "Pioneer" post to get you here!)

Stick around - we can use your input and expertise here!

I think Mike has come kind of techno sex fantasy with his stereo. He's truely in love with it. lol..Jk Mike. Pioneer does have some pretty interesting graphics on their stereos. Kenwood as well. It's pretty cool that you can add your own graphics to it too.

I went by Tweeters today and they had the JL Audio speakers and subs i was putting in and i listened to kenwood, alpine and pioneer. all on the same speakers and the Priemier Pioneer h/u kicked the others tail. the guy said he was the biggest JL Audio dealer in the area. knew of all the models coming out and even could go to a screen and tell me when available at the store. they had the last older model and the latest of all the brands,,, really nice store. not cheap but they have the goods

it was awesome hearing the speakers i am getting w all the h/u's. sound wise w the same settings,,, i loved the pioneer and it didnt have this huge learning curve to figure it out.

i have like Pioneer and after today and hearing them i LIKE pioneer alot... Mike has it right

they guy knew his stuff. told me they are working on a harness to let you use onstar thru the radio and was going to call me and let me know when it would be available and if available now. they guy told me if i got the h/u there they would throw in installation cept for the hardware and accessories needed and he would work up a deal for me. great guys and a really nice laid back use of telling me what is out there and available.

went to car toys, they totally sucked,,, took forever to even get a guy to talk to me. they didnt even have anything i liked and was lower end pioneer and they had higher on others. i will not ever go back to Car Toys again.

Cj: Is the head unit going to push all your speakers or is the amp? If so, what you heard at tweeter may not be the same thing you will hear in your vehicle. Unless Tweeter had your amp hooked up pushing the speakers and not the head unit.

When I do my setup the amp will run power to all speakers and the head unit will just be the source for all media options such as dvd's, rear camera, PS2, Sirius, MP3's, dual zone, EQ settings, etc...
