I would agree Lars, I have replaced everything...but did not go with the dynomat. Need to do that. Have Alpine headunit, alpine type R components in the front and type r's in the rear doors, amps on the back seats, positioned to so they can be up or down, the sound deadening is a must I believe! Not sure on the steering wheel controls, I'm sure you can keep them with the purchase of an addition module to do so.

The 4200 will make ur new speakers sound alot better than the stock head unit is doing now.

I suggest getting maybe a 4ch amp though, and using the front channels to power the new speakers, and bridge channel 3 and 4 to power your 8" sub when you decide to add that.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, have a four channel mtx in the garage i will prolly hook up. These are the plans touch screen pioneer,dynomat everything, 4 channel amp and jl w3 8 inch sub.

im goig to have to deaden my roof, im mad i didnt do that when i took the headliner out to suede it...now its gotta all come out again

Yeah I think the roof is a weak spot, I dont have a huge system and I can clearly see it has a lot of movement when I crank it. I may do mine too at some point. The rear hatch and quarters could use some too as they have a lot of rattles.
