Kicker CRV or CVT???

I'm looking to upgrade my audio system speakers and use the stock head unit and amp to run everything but the sub. After looking on here and seeing the 8" CRV needs a spacer ring (no big deal) and the 8" CVT doesn't I was wondering if one is better than the other. Or if there is no real difference in sound.

i HIGHLY doubt you will be able to tell a difference... i say go for the less work option.

i dont think the internal amp actually puts out 200 rms or more tho....
i could be wrong, i disconnected mine only a few months after having the car so .... idk

I have a Alpine V12 going in to run the sub. The stocker will run the rest of the system.

sweet i had the v12 600 watt amp and the 1000 watt amp... those amps are great, highly reliable.
