.mp3 cd burning advice?

I've did a couple with various artist sorted into differnet folders and stuff, but I can only manage to get about 130 songs on a disk. I've been using Sonic to burn them.
How do you burn yours? Any tips on getting the most songs on a disk?

You could lower the sampling rate at the expense of sound quality which would enable you to fit more songs onto the disc. But I would advise you not to go lower than 96 kbps which is the standard bit rate for most freebee cd burner software (sonic, real player etc). Even at that rate you'll notice a loss of bass feq compared to higher bit rates. 130 songs is about right for a sample bit rate of 96kbps. Also if I remember correctly that's about the limit of songs that the stock unit can track reliably. If you're going to stay with the CD burner pay a little more for the premium software and up the bit rate, your ears will love you for it

If you want to fit more songs an alternative is get an external MP3 player., Through my aux input I have a san disk sansa clip 2 GB mp3 player @ 133 Kbps I can fit about 400 songs with plenty of space to spare. It's about the size of a nano shuffle with full display and it's cheap enough to lose and cause no worries. I'm currently using rhapsody subscription service that I share the monthly cost with my sister.

Actually that sounds about right. What bit rate did you rip them at? I use Media Monkey for ripping and set it at "near CD quality" with VBR (192kps with varible bit rate). I think I can get about 80 - 100 cuts on a CD. If you want more, you can go with a lower bit rate, but you'll sacrifice audio quality.

EDIT: Grumpy said it much better than I did, I didn't hit the save button right away after I typed the post.
