No speaker adapters needed!!

Just finished replacing all 4 speakers and didn't have to go through Crutchfield or Amazon! Saved myself $20 or more! All I did was take out the stock speaker mounting plate. Then just cut out the "basket" of the stock speaker and remove the cone but left the foam surround. Sorry no pics but you would see that it is a perfect opening for mounting the speaker. The only catch is, I'm not sure if 6 1/2"s would fit so good but my Alpine SPS 510 5 1/4" two ways fit absolutly perfect!!! Then I seperated the tweeters from the front mains and mounted them in pillars... once again, fit absolutly perfect!! Sounds 100% better! And I though the stock speakers sounded really good with my 2x12 bandpass... the Alpines are like night and day!!
