OEM Satellite Antenna
I like the SIGMA, I just need verification that it will hold a signal without dropping.
I used to have a Starmate in my old Civic. I originally placed the antenna on the very front of the dash. It worked but it would cut off way too much for my liking. Afterwards I moved the antenna to the roof and got excellent reception. Right now my Sirius antenna doesn't loose a signal unless I get stuck under a bridge.

Found it cheaper. Only 55 bucks.. about the same price as a regular antenna. And still half the GM OEM.

My only concern with the Infiniti system is the length of cable and type of connector on the end of the cable..I couldn't log into the installation site to confirm this.. and those damn dots around the mirror have a coating that prevents a suction cup from adhering...

It's standard SMB Fakra connection same as with the GM antenna and 19' length of cable like on most Sirius auto antennas. To make it a "standard" SMB, you can either take the plastic off, or simply cut it down to make it fit, or buy a SMB Fakra to SMB right angle convertor cable. Somewhat doubt the antenna is adhered with a suction cup though, so that wouldn't seem to be an issue.

Was more of a reply to joesblackhhr above, but...
SMB is the technical type of interface that SATRAD (both XM and Sirius) use for their antenna connections. FAKRA is a further shroud around the SMB connector that allows it to "snap" into the radio. Most plugnplay radios use just the SMB connector without the shroud, while most OEM and headunit tuners use the extra FAKRA connection to make sure the SMB holds secure. The FAKRA is basically just a plastic piece and usually has clips that hold it around the SMB connector which can be unsnapped to take it off or the plastic can be cut down so you can plug it into a PNP radio. Make a bit more sense now?
