pairing my phone 09 hhr

pairing my phone 09 hhr

i have gone thru ever step to get my phone to work . was told that i might not have this option . ? it is a 09 lt2 has all the buttons on the steering wheel and the onstar button . could something be unhooked . thanks for any help.

could be newer phone with old technology Bluetooth in the OnStar, do you have the OnStar button on your mirror? Could be just the radio buttons were added by previous owner

sorry it has no on star button . but it should work with out it. that is what im getting from the manual.

From what I have , an 07 LT2 with the buttons but no OnStar , I don't have the option to pair via Blue tooth, that may have changed by 09

OnStar not = BlueTooth. Does the radio have BlueTooth? If not there is nothing to pair to.

im not sure how can i find out if it does , could there be a fuse or something unpluged.

A BlueTooth Trade Mark symbol on the face plate, maybe.

I am only guessing, but I think only the "premium" AKA Pioneer system would even be capable of the option to have it.

No bluetooth logo anywhere on my Premium system.
I have paired up 2 phones, no problems.

My original window sticker shows "Bluetooth for Phone" listed as an option.
