Your right, it also appears to be a new rev#, I'm checking with Metra tech support since the old version seems to be what is offerd through online sellers. If he tells me there is no difference I'd rather do that since the old style looking interface is cheaper.

What radio is going in? I didn't use an expensive radio harness and the only thing I lost was chimes and turn signal noises. I also put in a steering wheel control adapter and kept my RAP.

Your up on me, I had a mobile car stereo installation business back in 1975, never needed to mess with harnesses back then.

Yup, those were the days when a Bangin' system, as the young 'uns like to say, consisted of a Kenwood/Craig/Pioneer/Radio Shack AM/FM Stereo with an 8-Track or Cassette. For the speakers it was a case of installing 6 x 9's in the parcel shelf and maybe upgrading the door speakers(if it had any).

Do you remember the "Reverb" units we used to install on cars for that "Symphony Hall Sound" with the stock AM radios that had one speaker front and rear?

Unit that is stitting in the box while I research

Would like to keep chimes, Bells, Whistles and R.A.P. currently have the Scosche GM2500i harness as recommended by JTKrupa in his thread https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...hlight=gm2500i

Have downloaded install manuals on GMOS-LAN-03 recommended by EcotecRacer for GPS purposes and the Pac C2R-GM11 recommended by an installer for the for the GM 11-bit interface w/ R.A.P.

Have called all three manufacturers who of course say thiers will work, time to make a final decision, so I can get on with it. Would be nice to have the pinoutsand wiring diagram on the 2011 w/o OnStar to match up the schematics on the stock connections, new head unit and three different harnesses, but have only come up with the whats listed on the modified life website which doesnt seem complete.

I always liked the wonderbar !!!

They used two different lan'04's finally switched it to a gm11, and it works well, let me know if you need an 04, I have a couple.
