Question about Kenwood

Does anyone know anything about the Kenwood double-din deck DNX5120? I found a shop around town that will install it with everything except the XM adapter (it isn't available yet) for $1500. I trying figure out if this is a good deal.

it is a fine piece, i like last years dnx7100 alot better though. it has a true 7'' fully motorized wide screen, better graphics, and you should be able to get it for the same, if not cheaper now. the 5120 is trying to compete price wise w/ the pioneer avic series, thats why they got cheaper one the size of the screen and the no motorized face

The AVIC-D3X is another deck that I am looking at. Give or take $100 they cost the same installed. I would assume that there is a wiring module that will wire the factory XM to the AVIC deck but, the salesman couldn't tell me for sure.

...so many options available, I guess I just need to do some more homework on all of the available decks before I spend the money and realize to late that I don't like the one I bought.

Look at the DNX-8120...same as the 7100/710(Commercial gear), but adds bluetooth integrated and the MSRP is lower than last years 7100.
