when it comes to an 8'' the kicker and the audiobaun will sound just as good as the jl. as for the filter lp, that is for low pass which is for bass. the W0 series is there entry level sub. the kicker cvr series is a step up, and audiobaun, well i dont know really that much about them. if i where you i would go with the kicker cvr. you will get more bass and it will sound just as clean as the jl W0 that you have now.

 

Well, i think imma gonna take your advice and get the 8w3v2, I've already got all the jl stuff, like the amp, the sub, rca wires, and so on. im happy with the sound it makes, just want a smidge more bass, nothing outrageous but just a lil more thump at lower playing levels.
