Do you have the premium system? If you don't your not going to have auto volume adjust.

I don't have the premium system and it says auto volume in the menu...

The very basic AM/FM single disk CD thats only available on the LS? The one that doesn't even play MP3 CDs! If you have a 1LT or 2LT your basic stereo is the optional LS upgrade stereo. If you upgrade the 1LT or 2LT stereo you upgrade to the six disk.
