Radio not coming on at all

I got in my car this morning, and turned my car on.

But no radio, nothing, just a black display of doom, my clock isnt even displayed, and my turn signals work, but not the clicking noise it usually makes.

A friend of mine told me that perhaps a wire came un-plugged.

I can`t find any wiring diagrams online, let alone anything even close to being useful.

I called the dealership and they want $40 just to run my stereo though a tester, my radio worked just perfect last night, no indications what so ever of anything wrong.

I would appreciate any help on this matter, as i am pretty novice to all the electrical componets of my HHR.

Like i said , i am pretty novice to car issues, fuses are fine, i even changed the old ones with brand new ones and nothing there.

Not sure about the harness you are speaking of, could you elaborate and give me a bit more details where to look?

From our old friends at SoCal HHRs, a little bit of advice that many of us perform as normal maintenance. I do this whenever I check the oil...
