Thanks every one and to answer the question it is sealed. I did take the spare out but it still can fit i didnt want to put back in.

Sorry I meant It's open aired but the carpet almost seals it. Can't seal it unless you do shallow subs if want the setup I have.

Yeah I did the same thing with my set up. I do have a little gap in the front though. I trimmed the MDF a little too much in the front. But it actually still sounds really nice. I also don't have it so it's hitting really hard. I'm thinking I'm going to get some foam, trim it up and cover it in the material I used. Here is a pic of mine...yours looks better I think...

Thanks again for the idea to put the sub there. I had thought about it but wasn't sure if it would work.

I still have my spare tire in mine. I do a decent amount of driving and couldn't afford to be without it, just in case!
