No no, I said "Pre-Fab", as in ready made. To custom fab a box for one sub isn't very cost-effective. And after shipping, it wouldn't really be worth it to you, either. I'd say while you're at your local Best Buy, see what they have as far as pre-fabs go, you might see something you like. This way, with your amp under the parcel shelf, you can leave it in the lower slots, and rest the prefab on top. Just make sure it's well secured, 40lbs+ boxes tend to hurt when they move around too much!

ng....... you asked a while back about using the stock box and the stock location i'm waiting on the stock box that i ordered to come in and try it with a 10" sub it will be a shallow mount one and i will let you know how it comes out it might take a while to get it done because i don't know when i will recieve the box

Thanx, I'll be waiting for the info! Someone in a previous post/thread stated that a 10" won't fit in the stock box. So I hope you can find a 10 that will fit in there since that's what I really want to do.

Unfortunately I really would like to keep my stock storage space, so pre-fab is a turniquette move (use only as a last resort). With my commute to work (70 miles roundtrip) and I also attend night classes at the local University I throw my backpack and work related items back there.

We'll I guess the mad scientist is going back to the drawing board.
