Sirius FM Direct Adapter

Hello,

I recently installed a Sirius Satellite Direct FM Adapter box to my non-Pioneer head unit in my 2009 1LT. I had to use the Chrysler-style antenna adapters in order to connect to the male and female Motorola-type connections on the FM Direct device. My father just purchased a 2011 2LT with the premium sound system and I would like to hook another FM Direct adapter for his Sirius radio in his car. My question is, does the Pioneer premium head unit also require the Chrysler antenna adapters, or does it use the typical Motorola type? I live about 700 miles away from him, so I can't look for myself. I would like to assume that both types of radio have the same antenna, so the connections would be similar, but I'd like to make sure before he makes a trip down here in a couple of weeks when we can work on this together.

Thanks for any help!
