speakers cut out, weak antenna
Does anyone make a kit or instructions for dealing with the intermittent speaker on/off issue? I have installed three different radios, two stock, one new aftermarket with the same results. The only speaker that consistently works is the one in the windshield post. The others cut in and out at random. And the antenna has never worked right... very weak. My HHr is a 2006 with the base radio/cd player?

Welcome to the site.
Sorry, but there is not a "one fixes all" set of instructions or info. You could have any one of numerous things that could be causing your problem.
I will suggest you try the Search function on this site. There are many different threads that deal with HHR audio problems. May take a little bit of searching time and reading, but you may come across some helpful info.
Fwiw. Sounds like 2 distinct issues. Just guessing but sounds like bad speakers for the first part. The door speakers have been known to have a short life from water intrusion on the back side.
The antenna issue. Should be some info located on this site.

Is there a reason you would NOT suspect the speakers and/or wiring before the radio?
You don't say if you've replaced speakers or inspected the wires.
The antenna amplifier sometimes gets messed up. There may be a TSB on the 2006 antenna wiring, seems to me.

I had my own problems with the stock stereo. You are welcome to do a search and read a whole bunch of threads on the subject.
I can say with a lot of confidence that the radio is probably not your problem and the speakers in the doors are.
Go ahead and read some of the existing threads, you will see what I'm saying.
