Looks good!
Not sure if you used some sort of boom mat or something behind the speaker? I had them on mine and they came out the next day, they really killed the sound quality in my opinion.
One of the best things you can do is sound deadening for your car, I've done all of my doors, the entire rear area, sides, back gate, as well as under the rear seat. Whenever I get around to pulling the front seats and carpet I'll be adding some up there as well as dropping the headliner.
You don't have to spend a fortune, I spent about $110 (around that anyways, the exact dollar figure escapes me) for a 50 sq. ft. roll of fat mat off of amazon, I've used about half of the roll so far and the difference is incredible!
The only downside is you will need to pull your interior apart to put the deadener down, but it's definitely one of the cheaper mods you can do to improve your stereo.
Currently I've done:
Infinity Kappa 6-3/4 speakers in all 4 doors (factory tweeters are still in... for now)
Rockford Fosgate P1000X5
Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12 sub (currently in a prefab Q-logic ported box).
Rockford Fosgate 4AWG Amp Kit
A Pioneer AVHX2700BS head unit.
Sky High Car Audio 12 gauge speaker wire to all of the doors and sub, and also used SHCA for the RCA wires.
My 1/0 wire and hydraulic cable crimper just came in today so I can upgrade my big 3 this weekend.
Next up on the list a decent XS Power battery, and a higher amp alternator (preferably Mechman).
This is the first build I've ever done with the battery in the back, sure makes it alot easier to wire an amp! lol, but the big 3 gets a little pricey when you need about 20 ft. of wire to upgrade the run from the alternator to the battery.
Good luck with your system, looks like you're off to a great start!
