I had gotten mine off eBay. It's a 2.5" black billet with a flare at the bottom to match the stcok one. I haven't had any problems with reception when I do listen to the radio. I looked and don't even see them listed on eBay anymore.

After reading everything, I compromised. Pulled mine off, heated the vinyl cap, slid it off, cut 5" off, heated the cap, slid it on, heated it again to seal it and screwed it back on. 11" looks a lot better than 16".
PS; Reception didn't change on the FM's I listen to, which is extremely rare, I usually use XM or my iPhone to listen to Pandora Radio.
