sub woofer

I look for a thread but didn't find one so excuse me if this has been asked.

I have a 2010 hhr LS , I would like to know without having to take apart . Are there wires for a sub in the back? or do I have to run some? I have the basic radio in the car now and I am going to be replacing all speakers. it is also a panel

thanks

All the connections you need to add an amp/subwoofer are on the back of the radio. There is no connection for a subwoofer speaker. I doubt on a LS that there is a harness running to the rear qtr panel.

Look at the bottom of this page under "related topics" for a few links.

The wiring diagrams are on the site in a lot of posts, here is one. The connector on the back of the radio is the same, the connections on your amp may be different. I'm not sure if there is a difference between "lo level audio" and "speaker out" on the head unit.
