How about 10, 50-inch sway bar boxes? (with sub playing)

Plenty of room!

I can't decide how far to go, just speakers, speakers and amp, or speakers amp and head. I have the premium sound system now..........

My bass quality over sock is not even compareable. That one 8" kicker kicks butt. it sounds better than some systems that I have heard with 2 10".
I do have a nice amp running that 8"

I like it. I didn't loose and space, and it still rocks. It's not going to win any SPL comps( it might have in way back in the day), but it still sounds good.

Would you take the time to list out your system? Are you using the stock radio ETC....

Thanks.........

Right now I am still using the factory radio, and speakers. I have a Orion HCCA 225 that is running a kicker comp CVR8. The sub is duel voice coil 4ohms each. Run in parallel droping the load to 2ohms, then the Orion mono bridging module drops the load to 1ohm. The HCCA amp is stable to 1/2ohm loads. I also have a 5.6" head rest monitor, 7" monitor in dash aux glove box, DVD player and infrared wireless headsets for the back seat.

Has anyone on this board sucessfully mounted a 10" sub in the sidewall? I imagine that you would hane to increase the size of the box as most of the 10" subs need at least half a cube. I would be able to live with a grille if it allows the floor panel to tilt up............

Anybody upgrade the basic sound system

I wanna use the sub comparment in the back and replace the door panel speakers as well...the door panels are an easy swap out, does anyone have any info or tips about the sub compartment? As far as I know its completely empty...

Stock Subwoofer

If the stock sound system does not have the subwoofer, is the wiring in place to put the unit in and use the stock head unit? I would like to just buy the sub enclosure, stick it in, and that be it, but that sounds way to easy honestly....
I just picked up my new Spring Edition yesterday and without the pioneer system, it sounds a bit flat for my taste.
Thanks for the help.

Can I get some info from anyone who put an 8 or 10" sub in the rear compartment? What size box did you have to make to get it to fit, and what kind of sub did you use? Free-air subs or sealed? Just looking for some advice before I go out and buy anything. Thanks!
