What do you mean? Do you want to put a sub in the factory location or just in the rear compartment? If you mean in the rear compartment you're going to want to build the box to the subwoofer manufacturers specifications. If you mean in the factory location IMO the best thing to do would be to get the factory box because it is specially designed to fit there.

I just picked up my new Spring Edition yesterday and without the pioneer system, it sounds a bit flat for my taste.
