USB Fail

Alright so I have a 4gb usb stick formatted fat32, with mp3s on it, when I plug into the port on the radio it keeps saying device load fail or something like that. Anyone know how to correct this, I tried searching on here but I must be search retarded. Thanks in advance.

Try another brand of memory stick to make sure the radio is reading it.

I'm using a cheap Lexar USB stick (made in china unfortunately), but it works flawlessly.

If it is a Ready Boost USB stick with the U3 software on it -- it maybe seen as 2 different drives-- although you only have the one usb stick in-- this will confuse the radio sometimes as it will mount the U3 software drive instead of the MP3 part of the USB stick causing it not to load properly. I ran into the same issue with a CNC machine the other day. Try plugging it into an XP machine and go to my computer and see if 2 drives are being mounted when the stick is being plugged in.
