Various HHR Sub Installs...
Was that question for me? If so, please give me more detail. I am not sure I follow your question.
But, just in case, every stock part that was there is still in place...EXCEPT the plastic recessed panel that once covered the spare tire.
The spare tire is there, the tire hold-down bolt thingie, the movable shelf/floor part....

I have 4 12" kicker dvc L7s, 4 kicker 6x9s, 6 kicker 1" tweeters and 4 6 1/2 alpine spr60s. The 2 sub amps are Earthquake ph10000w/d1 amps and the 2 4channel amps are Earthquake 2200w/d4. Also have 2 stinger 10farat digital caps and 3 stinger batteries and 1 red top optima. The Headunit is a keenwood DVD/navigation Headunit. Got a 240amp alternator installed but plan on upgrading to a 320amp alternator later. The stereo is running around 7000 RMS right now.
My recent sub replacement
After I got tired of hearing the stock subwoofer rattling, I thought I would go back there and check it out. Turns out the woofer was definitely toast; the cone was literally detached from the coils and was torn at the top. I went searching for a replacement, something simple, and purchased the Pioneer dual 2 ohm 8" shallow mount subwoofer. I am very pleased, while I also used the stock box and amp. Practically a direct fit.
