Will PAC AOEM-GM1416a work on 2009?

Anyone use this on a 2009? I'm doubting much changed from 08 to 09 but you never know.

According to this site it will work if you have standard 11 bit Radio with 14 or 16 pins.

I just purchase one for my 2010 HHR LT with radio 1 step down from premium no factory sub, XM disabled.
Also purchased JL2 500.1 mono block amp and 2 JL 10WX 10" 4ohm subs in sealed boxes.
I'm going to install the amp in the spot where the stock sub would be and put a connector plate in the side molding Speakon connectors, so if i want to remove the subs its simply unplug the boxes.
