haha I will have to remember this thread in 6 months. I just renewed tonight for 6 months at $4.99 a month. It was $34.52 after taxes and the other fee thing. Not bad, but if I dont cancel in 6 months they will start charging me monthly at $14.99 (after fees) a month. I got the coupon in the mail after not having xm for amonth after my free trial ended.

xm is nice but I will not pay more then $5/month. For as much as we are in the car it is not worth more then that to me. Thanks for the heads up.

 

Has anyone tried this recently? My XM subscription just ran out and I will not renew at full price, but at $65 I might just renew.
If not, anyone know of any other deals?

 

Call and ask them. XM always has deals some not even advertised, especially if you are thinking of canceling. Since our HHR is GM certified we have the 3 months free right now. But our van has XM and we have had it for years. When I sold my truck and the portable XM unit that I sold it with, they kept trying to give me offers to keep XM in the truck when i called to cancel it. They threw out so many offers I can't remember them all because at that time i was not interested (since I no longer had that radio).
