XM Monthly fees

Deb, Sindy..

Please help. I want to find out if there are any cheaper options for paying for this plan. I've tried to search, but haved learned that this is a talent I do not have, in fact, I suck. Pprobably would not have ordered XM, but came with, and has some really good programing. Really like XM73 Frank's Place and another called Beyong Jazz. Forgot I had a CD or radio. I was just wondering if there are any discount schemes out there...

This link explains the plans.

I love xm! Have it in both our HHR's plus we have two xm-2-go's.

The best deal is to get the 3 year plan, $9.99 a month. Saves ya 23% of the normal 12.95 monthly rate. We got the family plan too. This gets ya each additional radio for $6.96 each.

I rarely plays cd's or listen to broadcast radio anymore!

Nice, didn't go over the $9.99 plan. Good thing because mine just expired too.

XM does discount but you have to pay a year (or more) in advance for the discounts to kick in and they are fairly minimal. Same with Sirius as well. Guess I'm spoiled as I sub to both services

I don't know much about XM since I don't have it on my HHR...but it looks like Mike has you all hooked up with info.

XM has spoiled me. I need to get back to what's going on around me, and XM is where?.....Anyway, AM/FM/ 6 Disc CD, Pioneer, all that jazz, and all I listen to is sunny XM. My daughter has a Roady for her car on my plan, makes it a little bit better for her, and you can get traffic alerts, if you live in a big city, not Ravenswood, WV

Both systems offer lifetime subscriptions. Thats the biggest discount scheme I have seen so far. Although one big payment, your done though. However, I don't think that lifetime plans included equipment upgrades. I haven't looked into that yet.
