06 cobalt ss front caliper

i was just wondering if cobalt ss front caliper would work? or what the difference between cobalt and hhr caliper(size)? hope to hear some inputs.

may have some issues on fitment because of different rotor size. or r u talking about putting one on an hhr ss?

Cobalt SS uses smaller calipers(piston area) than the HHR LT, not a wise choice to swap, will cause excessive rear brake pressure or ABS activation under high effort stops, not safe.

It may upset the balance of the braking system too, causing one set of brakes to lock up before the other set is engaging, a sure way to end up in the ditch or oncoming traffic.

Yup, thats exactly what will happen, rear brakes will get more pressure than they are supposed to because it will require more pedal effort to create the same pressure on the front brakes
