This particular kit is front only. We have to get someone with an SS that we can use to prototype the rear as well. It should be just as simple as the front. Just gotta have a car to measure. Then we will do a rear conversion kit for those without factory discs on the rear.

I've been a bit busy with work and haven't posted on here in a couple of weeks. But I have had a number of people PM me about the Viper brakes. As mentioned before, I have worked out with Chris a group buy for the front Viper kit for stock calipers. This will include two Viper rotors, mounts, and bolts to install on your HHR. You need nothing else to install them and be on the road. If your current pads are worn or not the best quality it would be a good time to get a good pad. Also, it is a good time to paint the caliper and make it look really good.

So I am looking for 10 people for a firm commitment for this upgrade kit. I don't benefit from this in any way and all payments will be made straight to my friend's company. I am just looking for 10 people who are ready to buy so I can tell him we are ready to go. The price for the group buy is $337.50. That is 10% off the normal price of $375. Not much more than a set of stock size slotted and drilled rotors.

Hey Songman, count me in for the group buy. I'm definately interested in a front kit. Please keep me posted, and let me know when you need money.
Thanks,
Randy

Okay guys. We are through the Christmas holiday. I know we need time to build the funds back up but let's start talking about this again. Let's say if we were ready to place the order with Chris around a month from now, who else could we add to the list? Thanks to those of you who have already spoken up.

Hey guys,

It looks like either people just aren't interested in this or they are just waiting to get some more input on it. So I spoke to Chris over the weekend and he says that those of you who have already expressed an interest can go ahead and give him a call and he will honor the group buy price even though we didn't get 10 people. So give him a call at 661-822-8111. Ask for Chris West.

If you want to see some of the other kits he has done, check out his Fiero site. The brake kits are at http://www.westcoastfiero.com/brakes/brakes_13.html

I'm about to head over there and have him build a cold air intake for my Hummer today and possibly some better flowing exhaust too.
