Took mine off, mainly due to a nail near the sidewall, but I had been wanting to take them off and go back to 18s b/c the ride was rougher and they felt heavier.

I just put 20s on my HHR and love them I went with 225/35/20 tires and I do not believe it to be much worse in the comfort for around town I have not driven along distance (over 100 mile) but if the ride isnt much different around town it should be fine on along haul .

Well, they are heavier..An excellent time to beef-up the braking power..

Heavier rotating mass will take more time/distance & effort to stop...That's a fact..

Just my .02

Well, I knew they WERE heavier, but I didn't know I would be able to FEEL the difference when driving it, not holding the wheels in my hands!!

10-4 (no offense meant)..

I only replied because I see so many just hang big rims on their rides & never even consider the effects that it has on braking...

Hey everyone says 18 are the best way to go and I believe them I went with 20 and I like them but I had to go with the eiback pro kit if you go with 18 and went with eibach sportsline springs you would achieve the same effect lower drop with smaller wheels compared to larger wheels and smaller drop . I just had to get 20 why I dont know just really wanted that set up but if I was thinking with my brain and common sense I would have got the 18 reason tires are cheaper ride alittle better but I am happy with the way I went different strokes for different folks !
