I used our search window, HHR wiring diagrams ABS

 

Gee; 2 wires from each wheel to the EBCM.

 

Hi! I have a 2010 HHR LS. I have had the "ABS" light on for a good while. Over the years, I have changed all four wheel bearing ( which include the wheel sensor), because they had close to 200K miles on them. I have found a break in the Right Rear wheel sensor wire next to the wheel hub, and repaired it. The ABS light was still on.....? I have found the pinouts of the electrical plug for the EBCM. I disconnected the plug and ohmed out the wires leading to each sensor. I found that the front sensors ohm out, but the rear sensors read as an open circuit. Question:I would like to know the path the sensor wiring takes thru the body of the car. Any thoughts?????

You've had a warning light on for your brakes, for years? And you've never had the codes read?

as for physical location of the wires , they usually just run from the hub to the body in each side, now I haven’t seen to many where the wires were damaged in the body cavity, just in the exposed areas
