Anyone have experience with the electronic steering?

The reason the search gets so clogged up that it's hard to make sense is because people refuse to use it and post exactly the same question over and over, garnering the same answers and different opinions.

However, if you were to follow several links you would get a good idea as to what is really going on. Been there, done that!

In your particular case the 2 "literal" questions could be answered by just looking at the number of links.

The other thing I would suspect is the torque angle sensor, it monitors the speed of the steering wheel, and does have a calibration that needs to be done with a scantool. That's SS only, as far as I can tell.
