Changing all 4 original factory struts, help please

It's settled then, I'll be ordering the KYB's, once I have the parts here I'll take them to my mechanic (or maybe even in AZ, so as not to pay the import fee).

if I carry the part across the border is 15% of the original price, and if I get it installed and crosses as a PART of the car then it's nothing.

No mention of the BIG nut that holds the strut bearing on? It is tough to get on/off without the "special" tool, that's the why of a spring compressor. And you can borrow a spring compressor from the auto parts store and it is really not that dangerous IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS (RTFM!).
Yeah donbrew. I was wondering the same thing. Easier to me to take the whole thing off. Then you can do the strut assembly on a workbench. So much more comfortable. Plus you can clean and inspect all the parts before the reassemble.
