Creaking like an old door!

After I replaced my rear LCA bushings and ball joints, I still had the clunk and creaking, the clunk turned out to be the swaybar bushings the cream was the strut top bearing plate bushings

In my case removing the lower control arms was duck soup, easy.

There is another thread on here where the original poster had lots of problems because the center of the large bushing was rust welded to the bolt.

He had a lell of a time getting it out and ended up buying a sawsall and a hand full of blades to finally get it.

I finally replaced the lower control arms. The bushings on the old ones were almost completely worn out. Looked like an animal was chewing at them.

Noise is almost completely gone now, but I do notice from time to time I hear a minor creak once the car comes to a complete stop while braking. My struts are coming up on 40k miles, so I'll have to check to see if the top strut bushing is okay.
