Found source of frt end noise problem.

When putting Pedders springs on in Oct. 09, we did'nt align top end of spring to the upper strut mound tab[evidently there for the purpose of spring alignment]. we were 180 degrees off from the tab, and the 2nd and 3rd spring coils were coil binding and rubbing past each other. Back then used stock upper strut mount. Did'nt see the problem until pulled strut off, for upper strut mount replacement, [for noise problem].
Installed new Moog upper strut mount, bearing, ect, and lined up top of spring end, with tab, and now noise I had been hearing for a long time, is now gone.
With aftermarket springs, guess it's a good idea to line spring ends up with tab. All good now. "Moon"

Did'nt get any pictures, as I did'nt expect that problem, and thought the upper mount install, would be a no brainer.
I'd been chasing this problem for a long time, and using a electronic ear, finally narrowered it down to upper strut area, hench replacing upper mount. The major coil bind was the problem all along. "Moon"
