Go AutoZone or OReilly's or Advance and look for calipers for a 09-10 HHR SS..make sure it says 4 piston caliper...it will not say Brembo nor will it show the front of the caliper with the Brembo logo. It will have a view of 2 piston cups on one side of the part. The view between the regular and Brembo calipers will show the obvious differences....

great info, the fact that they are rebuit and have a warrenty is great. Its like putting on a big break kit for $150.00. I still have mine and they work great. awesome find audioman

I still don't see how they will take a core of regular calipers in exchange for the Brembos.

I would guess they dont know the difference, and will just look in the box to make sure there are two in there... I tried Auto zone and Pepboys...they dont have them yet.

It looks like it doesnt matter, most stores (ie Advanced, autozone, etc.) don't care or check the cores on mostly everything that is considered a core, batteries, brakes, etc. I bought mine from a salvage yard in the midwest and it cost me like 90 bucks shipped to NJ. But looking at this deal it seems worth trying if the stores have them, can't beat a refurb from the factory and a warrenty. just my opinion.

Will these bolt up to the regular caliper brackets or do we need new brackets to go along with the calipers?

they will bolt right up, remember that you need new pads and rotors to go with them....I just got some slotted/drilled ones in today, waiting on the spacers and braided lines now.... not to mention the entire car from the paint shop
