Well Karen, if your going to show yours, then I'm going to show mine. SPRINGS, that is. I think our photos pretty well show what the problem is and why the noise. Mine is at ride height without anything in the vehicle.

Remember now, there is one more coil that is inside the two coils that are touching. In essence, when you hit a bump, you are most certainly going to have coil bind on the lower part of the spring. And springs don't like coil bind!

same as mine also..as i stated in my post.2 or 3 bottom coils touching each other..makes rubbing noise when driving and hit a small bump

Cool got mine today...

I got my springs today, I'll be getting them installed soon!

Any further updates on the 'noise'? How many people are experiencing this 'noise'?

i have the noise but after a time you get used to it and don't pay attention to it and besides that the hhr just looks to darn good lowered to change back to stock

Still have the noise at times even after spending the little extra for the fix that Gold line has on their web page, from a Honda Dealer.
Still have not decided as what to do next. Stops are cut, can't go back to stock with cut stops?!
