Goldline leveling spring question
If you have the ability, pull the springs and trim the bumpstops, cutting off the entire "knob" from the stop. there is a groove just under the knob (*I think Sindy has a piture hosted somewhere from Mr. Bumpstops. Parhaps she'll jump in.)- that's where to cut it. Re-install the springs and see what you get.
Well Karen, if your going to show yours, then I'm going to show mine. SPRINGS, that is.
I think our photos pretty well show what the problem is and why the noise. Mine is at ride height without anything in the vehicle.
Remember now, there is one more coil that is inside the two coils that are touching. In essence, when you hit a bump, you are most certainly going to have coil bind on the lower part of the spring. And springs don't like coil bind!

Still have the noise at times even after spending the little extra for the fix that Gold line has on their web page, from a Honda Dealer.
Still have not decided as what to do next. Stops are cut, can't go back to stock with cut stops?!
