Do any of you have any before and after installation pics? I want to get an idea of how much they lower the rears. Ive been reading the thread and have an issue with the ride quality. I have the sport suspension on an 2LT and find it a little too tight as well. I recently bought one of the Progressive rear sway bars that I have yet to install. I read that stiffens it up as well

Try the search feature using key words: rear;springs. Lots of great reading there. I did the same before deciding.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Shmoo. After reading ALL the posts, I am electing to keep away from the leveling springs. The noise, hokey a$$ed fix its and the general consensus that the ride is notably stiffer made the decision for me. I'll live with the slight rake the stock set has.

Yeah I read that same one and it has me a little on edge about getting some It also got me more confused because I went to that truckshop.com site and it said that the leveling springs are a 1.6" drop and other sites claim it as a 1" drop. Which is it, 1.6" or 1"? They also never found the issue (or gave up). Is it maybe the difference between gen1 and gen2? What is the difference between gen1 and gen2? One site I checked out is selling out of discontinued Goldline leveling springs (I assume gen1). I am either more lost or more educated now. I can't figure out which lol

Here is your answer on why they goldlines are discontinued:

We acquired the remaining inventory of HHR springs from Goldline. We will also be taking over production on the HHR springs. Both the HHR lowering kits and the rear leveling springs will NOT be going away.

That's interesting. That also says (to me at least) that 1.6" is the true drop since that is the site to the people that make them. Man 1.6" is far! I was worried about the ride at 1". I'm going to break out the ole' tape measure and just verify :)

The drop on the Goldline leveling springs is published as 1.6" everywhere I've ever seen them. That's about right- I had them on my car until very recently. Here is a pic not long after I installed them.

That sits nice. There is another brand I saw a few times. I'll have read up some more.
