leveling springs..........goin for it.........
Whats your thoughts on using the SS/TC rear springs with my 1LT and FE1 suspension ... leaving the front with the Std. FE1 springs.
I get 1 3/8" difference in front to back just as it sits on the level concrete garage floor
Measuring from the top of the wheel to the bottom of the fenders.
I like the softer ride as well but there will be the occasional small boat trailer approx. 60 lbs. tounge weight and hauling stuff that makes me wonder ??
My 2LT sits pretty level stock. Maybe a 1/2" up in rear is all.
The way I drive it doesn't even need the rear sway bar.
It might have something to do with the fact I am running 205/60R/16 "Xload" Michelin X Ice3 tires with 32lbs. front 30lbs. rear cold .. all year around. High temps in the summer here are around 80 for a day or two.
They do handle well all around for me.

SF- I do believe the only diff between 1LT & 2LT suspension is the (sport tuned) gas shocks & struts.. I think you would be fine using them on your 1LT..
My Panel 2LT did sit up in the rear, prior to the cobalt SS/TC springs..

I have noticed in looking at HHR's for a while now that some sit up in back and some don't sit as high. Mostly LS and 1LT's is what I see.
I'm talking about what looks to be Stock 2.2Lversions driven by little old citizens around here.
Of course they all vary in model year so I don't know if that could make a difference or just from springs settling over time.
Just seems to be an inconsistancy when you start paying attention to that issue.
You did do an alignment after your install ??
I hate to tinker with this car as it steers and handles so well as is.
