The Canuck Motorsports springs give a good drop but the ride feels more like stock than goldlines or eibach.

Street rods are not HHrs...your not running a short coil over with lots of shock damping..Yes its a bit firm but not like you'd think...ride in a new Mustang yet? THATS like riding a brick,,,,this cars are quite smooth lowered....my trucks lowerd,,now thats a rough ride...my HHR is not.

I put the Cobalt SS springs on my HHR 2 weeks ago. I feel the ride is better than before. I got the standard 1" drop with the SS springs.

I started with the base LS FE1 springs, right now I have the cobalt SS/SC springs.
They are lower and slightly stiffer, I do notice a little less compliance on small bumps. Overall a good mod for appearance and performance in my opinion.
I have bought the Canuck Motorsport springs because they are lower then the cobalt ones and are reported to have a more comfortable ride than other comparable springs. I just need a break in the weather and to find my impact gun, then I can give you a better opinion of them.
