Lowering the rear end but not the front.

Is it possible?

I want to lower the rear maybe an inch and a half or so, so it will be level but I can't lower the front or I'll scrape my driveway.

Yes, Cobalt SS/SC rear springs will lower the rear about 1-1/2"

You will need to re-adjust the headlights after springs settle in..

Yes but Cobalt springs are everywhereeeeeee.............I have them as well. Levels off nicely and retains the use of factory parts donchaknow. Not to mention the Cobalt springs are wound the same way as factory springs. No coils to bang together like the Goldlines. I had them and took them off several times to get the damn clang out of em. Ended up going with the Cobalts.

Is it just the SS springs that I need or any stock cobalt rear springs?

Anyone know of a write up on if they can be out on without a spring tool?

Thanks

Right here. Same same for the Cobalts. You'll want to use the SS springs. No spring tool needed once the shock bolts are removed, you'll see.

That's up to you. Using SS rear springs will drop the rear approx 3/4"...
SS springs will be stiffer..

Now, Cobalt SS/SC 2005-07 rear coil springs will drop rear approx 1-1/2"

'08-09 Cobalt SS/TC rear springs drop rear approx 1-1-8"
