Lowering Springs are installed!
#25
As previously mentioned in this thread, I installed the Goldline leveling springs and have no issues with noise, and the ride is awesome. Some are having a problem with coil bind, and from the looks of the pictures I have seen, I believe the springs may be installed incorrectly, which may or may not contribute to the noise.

If the spring coils are touching then the spring may be to weak for the application. Looks are cool, but a bottomed out spring will cause handling problems at the very least.
Having always driven lowered cars, the "Thud" is most likely the bump stop bottoming. Look at the area that the stop should hit if the suspension bottoms and look for signs that it is in fact hitting. A shinny spot or worn off paint. Cutting the stop is one way to reduce that, but a car that is too low or a spring at to low a weight rating is the culprit. Either way, it should be changed.
Just my two cents from an old guy that's been there and done that stuff for a while.

There is a thread that has all of the info in it. Gold line and *****************(Vendors Name)(I have no problem with them)have done thier test.
They could not dupicate the noise. And yes the stops are cut.
The noise is only on one side, the passenger side. Please read the thread about this.
This is a sore subject for me, as the noise is inter.
But the Vendor Did go out of his way to try to help find the problems.

The most puzzling thing in this is some have the noise, some don't. Some have a noise on one side, and some it only happens once in a while. No distinct pattern to help solve this issue. With mine, I have no noise at all, to which I'm very thankfull. Just wish there was something I could do to help those who have the noise.
