Every one is a little different in taste, I also use mine for work, 30,000 miles a year, hope this year is good, so I can buy a 2lt panel to take over the work duties. Keep the SS for play time, it's fun to drive.

I had no trouble selling them here, 408SS, has them now, what a sweet paint job on his. You might try some I saw a set of Eibach for sale here try them see what you think, lots of guy's are running lowered SS's. I don't think any of them can keep up with mine on a curvy mountain road, but they look good just sitting there. I got to go try my new tune Vince sent me, see ya.

Hi, well I have had a lowered hhr before, but that was just on a 2lt (my first one) If you look at my pics I don't really have any room to lower the car since I am running 20's and if I lower it, I believe I have to do body work. I'm just curious on the TTR bar, because I have it, and from what you are saying it didn't seem to help anything, but the Powell one did.
Thanks for the replies.

I liked the TTR when I put it on, but I noticed the car pushing in the turns, all the while, Moon is raving about his, so some one wanted the TTR, I took it off to ship it, I hadn't even ordered the replacement yet. After driving it, I almost didn't order it, the car cornered wonderful again. But I did order it, John powdercoated it to match my car, what kind of service is that. It feels like I have a pivot foot now, it ripps around anything simply amazing, the way it works with the suspension. Trial and error is how I found this out.

Thanks for the help. Im just waiting for till the car is out of warrenty before I really start messing around. Just like the intercooler pipes everyone thought Hahn was more when dejon actually costs more. Even though hahn stuff is all on sale right now for even cheaper. I would rather just get things that actually work the way we would want them to work. Thats why I'm asking the questions, so I don't have to do so much trial and error myself. Thanks again for your time.

Wish it was lower, but I already have the locking rings removed in the rear of my Pedders. Front has more in it!

I know this thread is probably dead but has anyone run into issues lowering their HHR? Like will I need better camber bolts or other parts to drop it 2 to 3 inches? I already have new strut mounts and bearings to put on, just want to make sure I'm covering my bases

Probably a good idea to provide a parts list, so we can know just what you're proposing.

everything is stock other than Moog wheel hubs and moog sway bar links. I will be replacing the oem strut mounts with Moog strut mounts and bearings a long with the oem struts with Raceland coilovers for a Colbalt https://raceland.com/product/chevrol...ers-2005-2010/
Yes I know they are cheap but this is my practice car to learn how to modify future cars.

I dropped Oldblue and drove it over 9 years, and 250,000 miles, no troubles, installing a TurboTech Racing rear sway bar was also a great improvement.

Dropped on Canuck Motorsports coils , drove great out to Cape Cod MA. Every October 2010 till 2018

Drove to Florida, 2010 to 2019

All over southern Ontario, here in Midland , Ontario

In the wintertime just changed wheels and tires

In the summer time rally rims and baby moons

Even looked good on the trailer headed off to new owner in fall of 2019
