Need Some Quick info on Camber
ok took my newly lowered HHr to get a alignment toe needed very little now camber was -2.0 and I read conflicting info . 1 thing said no more than -0.95 I also saw another thing say no more than -1.75 and to top it off I have also heard alittle extra - camber isnt all that bad . so the guy at the shop told me to figure out what I want to do and bring it back and he would take care of it . so do I buy camber bolts or leave it as is and just rotate my tires alittle more often . thx in advance guys .
Camber
wildman1122,
I, too, have conflicting specifications from two different sources on the HHR's camber; one says: -1.7 to -2.0 ; the other, Front, RPO -.95, FEO/FE2 +/- 0.75...
I am wanting to know too, as I've just installed Gold Line springs. I DID install the new camber adjusting bolts from gold line. I'm waiting, per instructions, to put 100-150 miles on it to allow the springs to 'settle in'.

I am looking for some info on this topic too...
I am experiencing tire wear on the inside edge of both front tires. It's a stock '08 HHR SS. the center and outside edges of the tires look brand new, but on the inside of the tires, the tread is down past the wear bars.
I did a search on the forum, and came up with that i need a camber kit... any other suggestions?
thanks!

However, due to an effect related to "bump-steer", you can almost count on your front toe setting to be quite altered as a result of lowering. As we used to say back in the day: Set the toe and let 'er go!
Well I bought the camber bolts today although there was no clear cut answers this is what I took from the ones I recieved , Chevy Mgr put specs up and no other statment so I must assume he means here are the spec and they should be followed and then you have Ecoboost they are a high performace company and I assume again the when they say set the toe and go is in the high perforance world you are willing to give alittle tire wear for control again I am assuming all this because of no real clear cut advice and since this is my wifes daily driver and I would like the tires to last as long as possible I got the Camber bolts if I wasnt so far out of the specs (1 full degree) I probably wouldnt but just for all to know I guess most dont need them but my car does even though it has never been abused or hit any curbs . Thx for all the help and I hope it helped others !
