Hey everybody, I've got a 06 HHR with 180,000 miles. Runs great! I just purchased slotted rotors, kyb struts n shocks, and pedders springs. I was wondering what all tools will I need to get this done this weekend? Open to any and all suggestions thanks!

If you have to ask what tools, take it to someone who knows the answer to that question, someone (you) could get hurt messing with the front springs and a spring compressor.

Welcome to the site.

Lets see that HHR https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show....php?t=3033%27

to the forum McCartySilver22!

Lets see, tools required....

1/2" drive socket set with both SAE and Metric sockets.

1/2" drive torque wrench.

Good quality floor jack and jack stands.

Access to a good quality spring compressor, or a shop nearby that can compress the springs for you. Springs can cause severe injuries or death if they are not properly compressed, the amount of energy contained in a compressed spring is astonishing....and not to be messed with.

1/2" drive air wrench and impact socket set & an air compressor of course.

Safety glasses, because you will be stirring up some dirt and rust.

And while you're at it, pick up a new set of strut mounts, at 180k your originals are close to the end of their service life(or to be honest, well past it), and they are relatively cheap.
