Cured!

I went to the shop to check the strut bearings. These were very dry! Just repacked with grease and no more boing noise.

success......
i had similar noises from the front............replaced both the rear/lower control arm bushing(with a mood piece(MUCH BETTER QUALITY....the original gm piece was beat to death after 32,000 miles) and replaced the struts9used monroe quick struts)..........have driven a few weeks since and ALL front noises are totally gone.........used to nake likes of creaking going over parking lot bump strips......gone as well...............another success.

I have wierd clunking noises from front suspension since day one. Replaced struts with MOOG, no joy. Replaced sway bar bushings with Energy suspension [greasable] bushings, still no joy. Have Pedders springs, so soon will replace strut, along with all the other components with new, and see if it goes away. Two years of more that a little abuse, and nothing has broken or fallen off, just more noise than I'd like over low speed bumps. "Moon"
