Pedder Spring clearance concerns, please advise!

Ok installed Pedder Springs on HHR SS, stock struts
Driver side front strut has plenty of clearance from tire
Passender side strut is so close im afraid it could damage my tire during turns or bumps in road.....
could all this be just cause toe/camber is off from lowering it? or would it be a bad strut or something else?
please advise asap
its literally so close im afraid to drive the car to dealership for alignment and damage my tire in process.......

Somethings wrong there. Who installed them? Stock tire and wheel size?
Did you get a second set of struts, I see you have 2 passenger side struts in the pic.
If you are able, take pics of each side with the wheel off, showing the entire length of struts and how they are attached at the bottom.

The springs won't make a difference for the strut/tire clearance. That looks messed up. Double check your work. I wouldn't drive it either. Measure the lower portion of both struts to make sure they are the same...I doubt they are from your pics. If they are...then check your tire sizes to make sure they are the same lol.

Sure looks like a pair of mismatched struts, measure them and double check the part numbers they shipped to you. Judging by the damage already done to the tire...park that sucker.

That distance wont change because of the spring. One is correct, look till you find the difference it has to be there, I would not drive it either.

The Strut could be bad or spring not seated all the way. Did you mark the strut when you took it off? It could be your camber is really off.

Lower it to the floor and see it the wheel standing up stright or tilled out/in then that well tell you if your camber bad. It not the best way of doing it but it well help.
